Christmas story by Paty C1 NEON, AEGINA

On Christmas Eve at 12.00 a.m., little Helen woke up and saw the star of her Christmas tree start to shine. She ran fast to her parents' bedroom. They told her that Santa Claus was there and she could sleep with them. The next day, Helen woke up very early and she ran fast to look under the tree. She saw only a caramel. But when she opened the caramel, many presents came out of it.

She opened just the first present and she didn't open the other presents at that time. She wanted open one present every hour. After five minutes, all her friends called and told her that they hadn't got any presents from Santa Claus. She gave them the rest of presents from the caramel and much more.

The next year, Santa Claus sent to her only a letter. In the letter was written that she was a very good girl. He didn't give any presents, but he gave her very good luck.

Christmas Story by Lina D2 Neon, Aegina

Once upon a time in a small village, lived one big family the Davins, with 7 kids.  The week before christmas they decorated the Christmas tree, and made Christmas cookies.  The next morning, one of the kinds left the house and her parents.  She was scared.  The parents waited for 5 hours but the little girl didn't come back to the house.

The next morning Mrs Davin saw a girl and ran to her but she wasn't her daughter.  The girl, Alice, came back again to the house one day before Christmas.  Her parents asked the little girl, "where were you?"  The girl didn't answer and went to her bedroom.

The next day was Christmas Day and all the family went down to eat.  They talked about funny things and all the family laughed.  The little girl started to laugh with the family and then she said, "Dad, where is my present?"  her father said, " Your present is on your bed", and the girl ran to her bedroom, opened the door and saw a little puppy.  The girl was so happy and loved her dog.

20 days before Christmas

Once upon a time, there were two young boys. These young boys loved their parents more than anything. So, twenty days before Christmas, the kids and their parents were on the road to buy some Christmas gifts for their relatives, but a truck hit their car……. The kids barely survived but their parents didn't. The truck driver also survived and got out of his truck to help them. He saved the kids' lives and got them to the hospital.

19 days before Christmas

The kids had some surgery and were now resting in their hospital beds.

                                                                                                                                                                    15 days before Christmas

Their grandparents came to take them home because they were now healthy and ready to go, but they now had no parents.

                                                                                                                                                                   14 days before Christmas

This was the saddest time for them after their parents death. The funeral…… They said their last words to them and one of them made a wish. He asked for a Christmas present.

5 days before Christmas

The kids were still sad about what had happened and they were still shocked. One of the boys tried to commit suicide but his grandad caught him and saved him from his own dangerous self. That's how sad they were.

                                                                                                                                                                      It was finally Christmas!

Christmas day was here. All the relatives were there: their aunt, their uncle, grandparents and cousins. Everyone was there, but there were two faces missing……their parents. The kids didn't want to come out of their rooms. They were too sad and not ready for the Christmas dinner. They finally came out and got ready for the dinner. The time was 11:45 and silence had surrounded them. Then, it was 30 seconds before twelve. They all started counting down except the two of them, when they suddenly heard two really familiar voices! Then they started counting as well. At twelve, they saw their parents again and their mum said that she and their dad will always be by their side but they won't see them. But do you remember that one of the boys had made a wish? He'd asked for a present for them, even though they were dead. He'd asked to be able to see them every Christmas.

And so, this happened every Christmas from then on.

The Modern Scrooge by Armando Prenga D1, Neon, Aegina

It was Christmas day. He was working in front of the computer. His office was cold because he did not want to spend money to warm it up. He was the only person in his town who did not like Christmas because he said it was false. He was very stingy. He did not give any money to charity for poor children. He just came home to go to sleep. He did not turn on anything to get warm because he did not want spend money.

After some time, three spirits visited him and said to him, "If you do not change, you will be forever unhappy". Since he was visited by the spirits, he changed very much. He was not stingy anymore, like he had been in the past, and after that, all the neighbourhood said he was doing the best Christmas.

The christmas tree by Penelopi C1 Neon Aegina

Once apon a time, in a forest in London, was a litle christmas tree. His name was Tommas and he wanted to be decorated because, in the forest, the winter was too cold. But he was very small and all the people who went there took taller, bigger Christmas trees. "Ha, ha, ha! You are too short! Nobody wants to decorate you!" said a bigger Christmas tree. "Don't worry, Tommas. One day, you'll grow up and someone will take and decorate you!" his parents told him. But for many years, nobody took him and his parents went in big houses. Tommas stayed alone.

Near the forest was a litle town. A homeless family lived there. They wanted to have a house and a Christmas tree to decorate. The government gave them a little house with some furniture but there wasn't a Christmas tree. So, the dad went to the forest with their children. Tommas had grown up and he was tall and big. They took him and decorated him. On Christmas Eve, Tommas saw Santa Claus. Santa Claus put a real star on Tommas' top and some presents under him. Now, Tommas was very happy!!!

How To Decorate A Christmas Tree And Its Origin

The Christmas miracle! By ArgiC1,Neon,Aegina.

It was 12:00 p.m. John was sitting near the fireplace with a blanket, waiting for his big brother. Outside was very cold and it was snowing. He looked outside the window, at the tree that was in the centre of the town. He saw his brother outside, in front of the tree. He was looking at the sky, like he was waiting for something. Then John went outside, telling his brother again and again to get inside the house, because of the cold. His brother,George, wasn't listening to him. Then,  George sat down like he was listening  to something speaking inside of him. He was talking to himself! John couldn't hear what he was saying. Suddenly, he stood up and he went home with John.

The next day was 1/1/2019. Every year, the gifts were going to be under the big tree at the centre of the town. Every year, George wasn't nervous about what he would get for Christmas. But this year, George didn't sleep. He was waiting awake for the morning.

They lived near the centre of the town. When it was 7:00 a.m. George got off his bed, dressed very quickly and went outside. He went to see if a gift that was under the tree had his name. John didn't saw any gift with his name on it. Often, when he opened the gift, he seemed very happy, but this time, he was happy because of it. After that, he checked his e-mails. He had a new one.The message said: 'You are the lucky winner of the jackpot!' He was so happy! After that, he said that he was going to a job. Of course, John followed him because over the last few days, he was acting strange. He went to some strange streets that John never was there before in his life. Anyway, he was talking to strangers, like homeless people and people collecting for charities. He was also giving money to lots of people telling them: "Merry Christmas!!!". He was telling everyone to come to the tree, at the centre of the town. When every single person of the town was there, he told everyone:'Merry Christmas!!'. John couldn't believe what he'd just seen.

When George came home, John asked a few questions like:' What did you just do there? or 'What's happened to you?' but he answered with just one sentence to all John's questions. He said: 'Not everybody can understand The Miracle of Christmas.'

And that's the miracle of Christmas

Ben, the Sad Boy by Mary M D2, Neon, Aegina

Ben used to live in an orphanage because his parents had died in a car accident. He was 10 years old and he had been living there for about 6 years.

He was a very kind boy but very sad because no one wanted to adopt him because he was a little bit ugly. Especially at Christmastime, he was even more sad and the reason was that he felt alone even though the orphanage was full of children. He missed his parents.

So one night before Christmas Eve, when he went to sleep, he saw a star outside of his window. At once, he made a wish. During the night, he felt so happy. His parents came and took him away to a wonderful place with a lot of grass, trees, flowers and waterfalls. Everyone there was so happy. He and their parents were running and laughing around the trees all day. "I'm happy!" he thought.

The next day, the ladies of the orphanage found him dead with a big smile on his face and the picture of his parents hugging him in his hand.

Christmas story by Panagiota Karagianni Neon Douros Aegina D1

On Christmas day, a lot of people all over the world were very excited because they were going to have more time with their relatives. But some people, like Georgia, who didn’t have any parents and were spending those jolly days in a hospital, had to be stronger and happier because they were alone. Georgia had been crying for twenty-five days in a row but no-one, not even the nurses, were taking care of her so the only thing that she could do was cry.

On Christmas day, a new nurse called Jenny started working there. She was from Africa and she had a different skin colour, so they bullied her. When she saw Georgia, she thought that she was alone and she gave her a little doll with eyes made of buttons and a pink dress. Immediately, Georgia stopped crying. She thanked Jenny and she played with her doll.

Jenny didn’t know that after that, she was going to be in a big trouble because the other nurses hated Georgia. They thought that she was only a very sick girl with no feeling, only tears. Jenny got very angry because a girl with a health problem had needed her and the other nurses didn’t take care of her. The other nurses old Jenny that she was ugly and stupid and Jenny couldn’t tell them anything. So, she went to Georgia’s room and told her about her problem. Georgia was very glad that someone was taking care of her.

It was late that night when Jenny passed by Georgia’s room. She went to get on her bus, but she didn’t get on. In the hospital, Georgia cried again and she left her doll on the floor and slept. In the middle of the night, Jenny went into Georgia’s room and told her the situation. Georgia slept immediately, calm that she has someone in her life who cared.

Christmas day came, and Georgia wrote a letter to Sanda Claus. She wrote:

"Dear Sanda Claus, for this Christmas, I want only health. Nothing else…. and if you can, I want I want to see my parents. For one last time

Next day, on the first of January, Jenny went into Georgia’s room but Georgia had died. Jenny read her letter and cried. After that, none of the sick children felt alone again.Σχετική εικόνα
