20 days before Christmas
Once upon a time, there were two young boys. These young boys loved their parents more than anything. So, twenty days before Christmas, the kids and their parents were on the road to buy some Christmas gifts for their relatives, but a truck hit their car……. The kids barely survived but their parents didn't. The truck driver also survived and got out of his truck to help them. He saved the kids' lives and got them to the hospital.
19 days before Christmas
The kids had some surgery and were now resting in their hospital beds.
15 days before Christmas
Their grandparents came to take them home because they were now healthy and ready to go, but they now had no parents.
14 days before Christmas
This was the saddest time for them after their parents death. The funeral…… They said their last words to them and one of them made a wish. He asked for a Christmas present.
5 days before Christmas
The kids were still sad about what had happened and they were still shocked. One of the boys tried to commit suicide but his grandad caught him and saved him from his own dangerous self. That's how sad they were.
It was finally Christmas!
Christmas day was here. All the relatives were there: their aunt, their uncle, grandparents and cousins. Everyone was there, but there were two faces missing……their parents. The kids didn't want to come out of their rooms. They were too sad and not ready for the Christmas dinner. They finally came out and got ready for the dinner. The time was 11:45 and silence had surrounded them. Then, it was 30 seconds before twelve. They all started counting down except the two of them, when they suddenly heard two really familiar voices! Then they started counting as well. At twelve, they saw their parents again and their mum said that she and their dad will always be by their side but they won't see them. But do you remember that one of the boys had made a wish? He'd asked for a present for them, even though they were dead. He'd asked to be able to see them every Christmas.
And so, this happened every Christmas from then on.
