Ben used to live in an orphanage because his parents had died in a car accident. He was 10 years old and he had been living there for about 6 years.

He was a very kind boy but very sad because no one wanted to adopt him because he was a little bit ugly. Especially at Christmastime, he was even more sad and the reason was that he felt alone even though the orphanage was full of children. He missed his parents.

So one night before Christmas Eve, when he went to sleep, he saw a star outside of his window. At once, he made a wish. During the night, he felt so happy. His parents came and took him away to a wonderful place with a lot of grass, trees, flowers and waterfalls. Everyone there was so happy. He and their parents were running and laughing around the trees all day. "I'm happy!" he thought.

The next day, the ladies of the orphanage found him dead with a big smile on his face and the picture of his parents hugging him in his hand.

I will never forget Christmas last year.Something happened that I show for the first time in my life. It was Christmas Eve and I was going to visit my grand mother .Suddenly, I heard a noise from the garden, behind a tree. I felt scared for a while but when I got closer, I was surprised. I SAW A BABY CAT LOOKING FOR FOOD. It's mother wasn't there. As I was looking around, I saw a very brilliant star in the sky, close to us.So I decided to adopt the baby cat. The star was a sign. Today, the cat is almost one year old and it lives with my family. I named it Lisa and we spend a lot of time together. It was the best present that I have ever had in my life.
