On Christmas Eve, the Haschak family was too poor and they didn't have any money to spend for Christmas decorations and presents. The father was trying to find some money for food and for Christmas decorations. The money that he found was enough only to buy one lottery ticket. When he came back to his poor house, his children asked him if he had any money to buy some food. He was hopeless and disappointed, he didn't have something to tell them.
On Christmas day, something strange happened. In the morning, someone knocked on the door. The whole family woke up and saw this handsome man who announced to them that they were the winners of the lottery. Everybody was excited – they couldn't believe i! When their father got the money, he went to buy lots of Christmas ornaments and presents for the children and a turkey to stuff for everybody to eat. That Christmas was unforgettable for this family.
