On December 25th, in a house with a snowed roof and smoke coming from the fire place, a ginger cat was sitting in front of the fire place while everyone in the family was getting ready to fo to bed. The children brushed their teeth and hid under the covers while the parents placed in secret two new presents under the Christmas tree and a glass of milk and cookies next to it on the kitchen table. Then they went to sleep too, but forgot to close the living room window.

The ginger cat, who was a really big trouble maker, waited until everyone was asleep and then went to the kitchen and ate all the cookies. It then spilled the milk from the glass and drank it all. After it had finished its meal it jumped down from the table and went over to the Christmas tree. While it was playing with the decorations on the branches it heard a loud noise coming from outside. The cat immediately hid behind the tree and accidently turned the switch for the lights on the tree to "ON". The bright, colourful lights scared the kitty even more, so it jumped out of the window and climbed up the ladder to the roof. As it was walking nervously on the ceramic roof tiles the touch of its paws sounded like reindeer hooves. Then, the cat fell down the chimney landing on its four paws, whixh sounded like a sack full of gifts falling on the ground. 

The family had woken up from the first moment they heard somethiing on the roof and and what they saw was a really big surprise when they opened up the lights. The lights on the Christmas tree turned on, the milk in the glass and the cookies gone and two new presents under the tree. The children picked up the cat and started jumping around: «Santa Claus came to give us presents this year!» they yelled while hoping around. It really was the most amazing Christmas for the kids but even a more amazing adventure for the little ginger cat.
