I wasn't looking forward to this Christmas. I thought it would be like any other Christmas. But in the end, it was the best Christmas!
Let's start from the beginning. It was Christmas eve, and I was sitting by the fireplace and I was writing in my diary. When I finished writing, I went to eat my lunch and then, I slept for two hours. When i woke up, I heard a knock on the door
 
They were my friends from school. They came to sing me the carols and they asked me if I wanted to go with them. I was very happy. This was the first time I had been to sing the carols.
When I got home, I counted the money I had collected. 
On New Year's Eve, I was sitting by the Christmas tree and l was reading a book about Christmas. Suddenly, I heard a noise from the chimney. I ignored it and l kept reading my wonderful Christmas story. After a while, I heard it again. I went to the roof to see what was there. There were two large footprints of boots. Surprisingly, I returned home and sat next to the tree to continue reading. Then, I saw under the tree the train I had asked for from Santa Claus for Christmas. However, the rest of my family's gifts were missing! Santa had probably forgotten to bring them.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
When I finished reading, I went to sleep until I heard the same sound again. It was Santa Claus! I thought that if I was hiding behind the sofa, I might see Santa Claus for the first time. I waited for a long time and almost fell asleep. But when he came, I heard him because he made a lot of noise. I spoke to him and asked him how he made the decision to become Santa Claus. He didn't answer me but then he took me with him to distribute the gifts to the children. 
 
When this wonderful night ended, I understood why Santa Claus decided this. The joy of sharing gifts and happiness to other people is great. This, after all, is the meaning of Christmas, to share happiness.
